Day 02 Chuck the Chunk

Sort of, as I am very sore in places I wasn’t aware were muscles.

On a good note, straws are my friend, as arms are not wanting to bend without reminding me that I am old, fat and extremely out of shape.

The workout went pretty well. I was able to do 1.5 hours of a run/walk in a half-hour on the machines. I did 3 reps on arms, legs and chest.

I am going to try to do about 50 sit-ups and push-ups this evening before bed. I am doing well on my meals. So far, with breakfast (2 eggs and 2 pieces of dry toast), I had some popcorn (1/2 cup for my mid-morning snack and mid-afternoon snack), lunch (a small portion of pasta, with no seasoning).

Yes. I am starving, but I am looking forward to my dinner: steak, mashed potatoes, salad with ranch dressing, and a healthy piece of cheese cake (I wish). Of course, my reality is more like: 1/2  chicken breast, lite seasoning, potato-baked plain, and maybe a small salad no dressing).

I have been pounding the water, (5 -16.9 FL OZ of bottle waters ).

Well, now I am off to go do some daddy-ing. My son doesn’t think I’m that sore or tired, as we have a lot of tickle-fighting to do, catch to be played, and games of chase.
