Becoming a Healthy Dad – 4 Reasons to Get Healthy

Living a healthy lifestyle is not always easy, particularly when so many temptations are there. I also have my own share of additional challenges (as a cancer survivor), which really works to make me even more intent being a #healthydad!

Why?

  1. I want to stay active (as a #HealthyDad)–so I can keep in shape (lose weight) and keep up with my boys
  2. As a #HealthyDay, we spend a lot of time outside–hiking, end enjoying the great outdoors
  3. I want the boys to see an example of healthy living–so they’ll know how important it is
  4. I know that being a #HealthyDad will mean a longer life (and I don’t want to miss out on even a minute of our time together.

I know… These are just a few of the myriad of reasons that I need to be healthy, eat nutritious food, and encourage an energetic and healthful lifestyle for my family.
